Using that criteria, the entire airline industry would fall into that camp. Who built those airports to begin with?

The fact is a non elected bureaucratic entity has overruled the decision of a local government in a contractual arrangement with a business to open shop.

To me the call is not even close. Promoting creativity, promoting lower costs for air-travellers, promoting more jobs and less welfare dependency means you would support Ryan Air's ability to open airports in depressed economic areas.

Promoting the status quo, promoting more power to non- elected bureaucrats, promoting higher unemployment and more welfare dependency means supporting the big carriers and putting barriers between Ryan Airs ability to open new markets.
