I know, if he were as bad as they think, we would have made sure that something was found, and quickly. It is like the allegations of stealing the election in Florida: if it had been a "black bag" operation, you can bet that the election would have emphatically stolen, not so close that it was the subject of endless controversy.

Kay did a good job fending off the worst attempts at exploiting the situation, but he himself was much to premature in stating that there was nothing there, even with his caveats. He knows that the Syrian story has some plausibility, he admitted it. He should have professed agnosticism.......
