Many people in the Reserves, whether it be National Guard or Ready Reserve actually first served in the ACTIVE service. I myself was in the USMC reserves for several years after getting off active duty. My brother was in WWII and joined the reserves afterwards and was called up for Korea. To insult them is AWFUL. Today the reserves are even more important than in the past. jdn
