Yep.....

Its not the business of "news" reportage to "chide" but to report the facts....

So we agree on one main issue. Liberal media outlets are
biased. They spin, distort & selectively report the
factual record to fit their ideological bias.

Wrong again! If nothing else, you are consistent. You have selectively ignored the information in my posts. As I said, and will now repeat, conservative Republican Senator Shelby from Alabama, who no one but no one could accuse of being liberal, left little doubt of his opinion of Tenet's speech.

Want to try to distort my posts again?!

jackass movie review: "Cold Mountain"

overall a solid "A" rating
this should receive firm acclaim, possible Oscar best movie

stars Nicole Kidman, Jude Law, Renee Zellweger, Natalie Portman

I didnt see any Oscar best actress in Kidman here
she did look stunning beautiful, and acted well
but the role did not call for a full broad emotional performance
her character was not too well developed

I thought Zellweger stole the show
her role was as a perky hard-working small-scale farmer
"you aint sitting & watching while I work" said to Kidman

Jude Law was excellent, but again, no broad emotional demand

the main overriding overwhelming theme was misery of Civil War
some real scumbag southern raiders dominated
they searched for deserters being harbored
they shot and murdered at will

I have never understood the celebration to go to war
there was perhaps more such celebration going into the Civil War than any in history
a long foreplay before full engagement
complete with strong talk, bravado, and political posturing

set in the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina

many very touching scenes
got about three slight tear-jerking moments from me
such as Natalie Portman's extremely touching moment in bed with Law
(not sexual, pure human comfort during times of pure misery)

not exactly a movie to take a date
but plenty of very romantic moments, and musings
both Kidman and Jude Law narrated romantic thoughts
amazing how humans under duress cling to thinly developed romance

many hilarious story lines
a preacher: "you can set your clock from my morning bowel movements"
soldier: "God must tire from appeals by both sides during times of war"

hint: do as I did, arrive 10-15 minutes late
the opening scenes are bloody as hell
I was forewarned, and arrived 10 minutes late
I saw nothing of the gorey disturbing open
