All right, I'll be back after some reading.
As I recall, in the last few years there was a concerted effort by many countries to keep Brazil & other developing nations from decimating their forests, i.e. creating the greenhouse effect.
I don't recall humanity ever having done that (deforestation) before on such a scale, do you? That's a man-made effect.
As far as "outrageous claims." Outrageous I suppose would mean flying in the face of facts. The polar caps & glaciers are melting at an abnormal rate. Is that an outrageous claim?
Also, is the description of the way ocean currents work, outrageous? Is there a danger of the gulf stream reversing?
If that claim is outrageous, why aren't you also outraged about orange terror alerts?
