Roach Appears to be Broadening the Question... ..from a Rate Hike, to other possibilities--as a way to Re-Load the Fed arsenal. One wonders that Roach is at least suggesting the Fed retract the threat to go "unconventional" in its deflation fight, rather than tighten. He is absolutely saying the Fed was quick to avert the Japan Example--while perhaps foolishly leaving itself unprepared--bereft of the needed, theoretical foundation--for extraction from The Hole: far, far below a normalized Rate.
