Mark H, You must be a scam buster. Excellent post. AS will make excuses for Kerry's position, but it was Kerry's position and it is up to him to dig everywhere before making one. No copping out on this one. Good find.

"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force-- if necessary-- to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security."
- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002

johnkerry.com - instead of taking one line out of a long speech, try reading the rest of it which states that his vote is conditional on going the Un route, buyilding a strong coalition, having a post-war plan in place and invading only as a last resort.

The problem with having debates with Bushies now is that the RNC central (Hannity and others) are putting out these inaccurate, incomplete or highly-spun statements which the Bushie legions then repeat over and over. Hannity has to be the worst of the bunch. He deliberately distorts anything and everything he can. He deliberately lies. The ends justify the means to him.
