Jacques: Thanks for the interesting article. As you know I'm very high on FC technology, seeing it as the logical progression for all things transport, etc. I certainly hope FC's ain't as far out as your article states. 'Course...this is a U.S. perspective on it, and as such I expect we'll be lead, rather than lead, in that area. And probably by Asians/Europeans whose needs are more "pressing" than ours.

As for hydrogen storage/production....well...those are issues, for sure. You should check out ENER in regards to hydrogen storage. They're working with Texaco and have come up with some very interesting stuff. Oh...and ENER's being lead by a Mr. Stempel (spelling?), a former chief exec of GM. But I digress....I still also think there's a lot of synergy to FC's and such battery technologies as can be made available by VLNC and others.

Bottom line? I expect by 2050 the national, and global, energy infrastructure will look similar to, and yet startlingly different from, todays world. Unless we all kill ourselves that is....
