GW never showed up for duty in 1972. Deal with it. That means he was AWOl and mandatory punishment is 4 years in the Army on KP duty. Just because he got away with it at the time doesn't mean he isn't guilty. Congressmen's sons can get away with a lot if they try. This issue is fair game and very relevant to the election as Bush is trying to sell himself as a xcourageous and honest military leader. In fact he's a fraud.
