For shame!!! I'll have you know I took a lot of heat on another thread for posting the PETA site as a fave. Do you happen to remember that stupid Humphrey the humpback whale who got lost not once BUT TWICE in the N CA aquaducts? The first time we fished him out it was the right and humane thing to do... the second time, I don't know... maybe natural selection should have taken care of that one. Otoh, the mountain lions down south correctly identify bicyclists as a tasty snack, and all hell breaks loose. Being smart just doesn't pay in the animal kingdom. This donkey is probably somebody's pet and is cleverly scourging for meal #2 by pretending to be lost.
