Well if your mother is voting against Bush specifically for interest rates, that is going to be a tricky one because the economy is so fragile that raising rates could drive us back down. I don't know, the only thing I am sure of is that we need better economic leadership, a better treasury secretary and a MUCH BETTER labor secretary. Interest rates are too low but jobs suck so bad its scary to raise rates.
