Re: Just last night, I saw the Times Executive Director interviewed on C-Span.

Bill Kellar? Yeah, he seems way out of his depth in that executive position at the NY Times.

And your observation about the blatant biases of the NY Times is no illusion.

They practically became pathologically obsessive about the minutiae of Bill and Hillary Clinton's failed real estate deal. And then the Times doesn't even bother to notice George Bush's National Guard record for the past few years. Not one mention of the controversy during the 2000 election. Talk about playing as Propaganda Ministry for the Chosen One.

The Times is being pilloried by the Right for all the wrong reasons. Howell Raines and Jayson Blair weren't really the problem. The problem with the Times is an unmitigated bias in favor of the corporate elites, and opposed to telling the truth about them.

hey Ann, what do you think of Arlen Spector, he is from your area right? I would say that Specter's favorability ratings in the country as a whole are high. He is a republican but like the CA governor Arnold, the fiscal republicans are popular. Only the neocons people don't like.

The Times will criticize Kerry through an OP-ED contributor. Did you see the article I posted
about Kerry's Friends. It was written by NYTimes Op-Ed editor, David Brooks. Usually,
I don't like Brooks because I think he is a bully, but in that article about Kerry, Brooks
pointed out specific instances where Kerry has peddles his influence in return for
campaign contributions.

For story see: Message 19792279

A woman I swim with told me today that she heard on cable tv that Kerry had an affair
fairly recently. Bush doesn't waste much time, does he?
