I doubt that you will ever agree that it was a central theme. Blix did not, by the way, discount WMDs before the invasion. You seem to be conflating his comments after the "major action" was over, and WMDs had been found, with what he said before the war. He noted that there were a number of stockpiles that Saddam had not provided a plausible account of, in fact........
