No - a ban only on CONSERVATIVE couples marrying and having children. You see, all moderates, liberals, etc., whether
straight or gay would be free to reproduce.

I'm sure Ed G. of the RNC would figure out a way to clone
millions of himself though. Doesn't he remind you of an older version of the boy in "Boys from Brazil" ??

Heck, let's just get rid of marriage totally. Some sub-cultures have basically done that anyhow. If anyone group of people can marry and divorce at will, there's no longer any reason to get married at all, nor indeed any societal benefit in it. All there would be would be parenthood and parenting obligations. Nothing more.
