But that ain't ever going to happen. Got too many people that like to run their mouths and get attention, but they get quite when it's time to put up or shut up. And you have too many people that want to accept the path of least resistance as the best (least costly and painful) path to the most ideal future. Too many candy asses. The very conditions that have led to the stagnation of our living standard for almost 30 years now. Although I would have to take issue with your prediction of civil war, I would think that we might be ripe for a hostile take-over by some outsiders with the assistance of some relatively small revolutionary group from within. I'd find that hard to rule out in the next 25 years. Buck

Z, ted as some radicals think, thinks that the arabs are their salvation. they think radical muslims are looking out after their best interests. ted thinks the best way to easy street is to turn our current system into chaos. what does that tell you about ted? he's too lazy to get off his butt and participate. this is demonstrated by their hate towards successful minorities. I would not be surprised if it leads to civil war. The anger we're currently seeing is an anomaly that resulted mostly from Gore's attempted theft of the election. It will pass, and Gore's continued foolishness will help it pass more quickly, as even the Extreme Left realizes he would have been a disaster. It also is important to recognize that only a small minority, perhaps 20%, are carting around such unbridled, free-floating hosility toward moderates and the Right. These are the Michael Moore-Howard Dean liberals, so extreme that they are largely, and correctly, considered as unreasonable people. Watching the Left run John Kerry is going to be sheer joy. I'd rather have seen Dean, but in reality, Kerry is at least as liberal as Dean, but with a war record. It really sounds as though his anti-war activities may be so extreme they won't play that well outside of Mass. But the American People are not ready for a Teddy Kennedy liberal. Wish I had more time to follow this stuff just now. It would be a lot of fun to watch up close.

This discussion/argument/schism that is going on in this country is very fundamental to who we are as a nation and how we want to precede. Its been coming to head for at least 50 years. There are two very different ways of thinking and its pretty much evenly divided us. I would not be surprised if it leads to civil war. Agreed! Great point. Thanks for highlighting it.......I thought that point was going to be ignored. I firmly believe we are heading for a 'constitutional crisis' for lack of a better term. I hope we are up to it. ted
