You are INTELLECTUALLY LAZY.

Because Argentina had an economic crisis,
you are blaming it ENTIRELY on the
privatization and free-market reforms
when I have clearly demonstrated there
were other factors at play.

I have provided an alternative explanation
for the crisis that is unrelated to these
reforms. Contrary to "taking it as a given"
as you suggest, I have also provided a source
that indicates the reforms were having a positive
effect until they were overwhelmed by the
dual problems of a collapsing currency and
foreign-demoninated debt.

Where is your independent analysis and
proof that the reforms had no positive
effect?

And your last sentence:
"it would be a mistake to say that cancer treatments
are the cure for auto accidents"
indicates that you DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND MY
VERY SIMPLE ANALOGY! Good grief, do I even have
to explain this simple analogy to you?

I never said that "cancer treatments are the cure
for auto accidents"! Duuuuhhhh... That is the whole
freaking point! Cancer treatments can be beneficial
to a patient, but they can still be overwhelmed by other
unrelated factors (like getting killed in an auto accident).
