There is another thing I've been meaning to say. Nearly a year ago, when John Edwards name was raised as a possible presidential candidate, you were one of the first to slam him. You suggested he was fairly well disliked in NC and that he was an ambulance chasing attorney........probably the most disparaging remark one can make about an attorney.

At the time, I didn't know Edwards from a hole in the ground so I couldn't say much. However, its one year later and I know a lot more about the man than I did then. And frankly, I think you're comments were way chickensh*t!

Glad you like the media image of Edwards. Do you realize he's been "running for President" ever since he was first elected to the Senate? He's made only about 20% of his votes! He has done nothing for NC except groom himself for a Presidential run.

He'll stay in this race till the last possible second, as he has no alternative. He is extremely unlikely to be returned to the Senate even if he decides to run again.

But the important things are there....he looks good, has a southern accent, is well spoken. When your idea of a good candidate is one with those qualities and a finger to the wind to see what he supports, he may just be your man.

Brian

Ted, I've already responded to the content of your post, but I had to go back for this one. I gave you my opinion of him then, and I stand by it now. I still feel the same way about him.

How exactly is that "way chickensh*t"? Is that some kind of crack? What a bizarre way to describe an opinion.

Just curious.
Brian
