Both McCain and Kerry showed tremendous courage when they served on the committee to investigate questions regarding POW/MIAs in Vietnam. Kerry was Chairman of the committee.

Everyone told them it would bring nothing but grief. But for these two honorable men, service to America has a very strong calling. So once again they performed a difficult task for our Country.

Kerry is a profile in personal courage. He served honorably (some say heroically) in the Vietnam War. Then he showed the courage to speak out against the failed Vietnam policy.

In the Senate, he led the investigation that uncovered the Iran/Contra scandal. He also led the investigation into Noriega's drug trading and the investigation into BCCI. His accomplishments are impressive, and like JFK, Kerry is known more for his executive skills instead of for legislation. That will serve him well as our next President.

I would be proud and honored to serve with either McCain or Kerry.
