>Ok, now I see where the comment came from, but you're wrong. I dislike Edwards for several reasons, none of which is he's a Democrat. For example, I hold Zel Miller in the highest regard. Give me a little credit.

Zell Miller is a friggin' Republican in Dems' clothing...

One reason is saying one thing, and doing another. He ran as a centrist, and now votes like a Kennedy. The main reason though, is that he started campaigning for president immediately after he was elected to the Senate. The seat was barely warm in his senate office before he started making campaign stops in Iowa and New Hampshire. Sorry, but that _really_ pi$$ed me off. He's a NC senator, but he's more worried about how his image plays in Iowa and NH than doing anything for NC.

I don't understand this one.......he was elected to the Senate in 1998. Are you saying he tried to run for the presidency in 2000?

Edwards readily admits that he rarely voted before his senate run. Frankly, I would find it hard to support a person that didn't care enough to vote in elections before he himself ran.

I find that a little hard to believe that he never voted; however, if its true, then I agree with you.

He has hardly any experience, but he is good looking and well spoken. Those are the primary reasons he won in NC before, but I think it's telling that he would not be re-elected.

I don't know the voters in NC but it says a lot about someone who runs for the Senate and wins when its his first
elected office. Maybe it is his looks that has women all agog although frankly, I don't think he's that good looking but then, what do I know? <g>
