How do you know which things are best left to the market and which are best left to committee? What accommodation is there for those who don't agree with that assessment? Furthermore how does one limit the government to only those aspects of economic activity which they are needed? In other words, if you put healthcare under government control how do you limit it to only health care pricing without giving them control over the various inputs to healthcare like drug research and the education of doctors and various medical staff? How is it decided who gets care and who doesn't? How is it decided which diseases and conditions are more important to treat. One has to assume limited resources, so someone would have to make decisions about who it is lives or dies based on some sort of subjective value judgment. You want the government making these kinds of decisions rather than the various people using the care?
