When we infer from what is said and left out, What it boils down to is that the Democrats don't want to engage in a serious discussion of what to do about the war on Terror. You will never see Kerry, et al, go as far as Friedman in even talking about it. The Democratic voters exit interviews put "the war on terror" down at the bottom of their list of issues that concern them. Kerry snipes around the edges and flip flops on Iraq. Do you really think a Kerry Admin would take out the Nuke capability of Iran? The fertile cresent of Islam will go back to "business as usual" if a Democrat gets in.
