Hey, I'm all ears. Let me know when Senator Kerry mentions his actual foreign policy.

I do think it's telling that he thinks it's a good idea to run without a foreign policy.

There is always someone willing to espouse anything. Some people advocated nuking Mecca after 9/11- I would never have thought that would be advocated by anyone.

"Apparently, given the amount of play it gets here on
the Straw Man Thread."

Could you cite a few excellent examples of straw man POV's
that led you to believe that this is "the Straw Man
Thread"? There must be quite a few given your mean
spirited renaming of this thread.

As for the allegation that "cut & run" is a straw man,
that is pretty much what Dean & Kerry have been all about.
Both of them adamantly opposed the war & immediately
demanded to know Bush's "exit strategy" when Baghdad fell.
Both of them were adamantly opposed to the $87 Billion
needed to support our troops. rebuild Iraq & bring about
democracy. Neither of them offered any alternative plan
that I know of other than to get out. Both of them have
railed against almost everything Bush has done in Iraq,
which is currently all about keeping a presence there
while securing the country from the terrorist insurgents,
rebuilding the infrastructure & allowing them to hold
free, democratic elections.

What other message have we heard from Dean or Kerry other
than to cut & run?

And I'm not interested in your personal spin & nuance of
the situation. Tell me what either of those two have said,
in their own words, that clearly indicates that cut & run
is not their policy.

....Dean pledged, "I'm going to pick somebody with defense
and foreign policy experience. ... The fact is, it's a
resumé problem.".... <font size=3>
