Thank you all who responded to my request for help. Perly,Nemar and thecow... It must have been a problem with the site. Everything working today. What scared me was that I had played around with the laptop and hit some keys of unknown origin to me. And since the last time...I did something like download drivers and couldn't get into anything and HP had to have me go into safe mode and then go back a few days on the computer to another date to get my Windows working, I was fearful.
