tejek, re:that comment reflects our dampened down expectations as the war's frustrations have increased during the past few months. I agree with the dampened expectations, everyone had high hopes - but reality never quite matches up - the same can be said of other less hopeful rhetoric before the war. :-) We may not like the democracy that is finally created in Iraq, they themselves claim they want democracy even the clerics say this - they just want it to respect Islamic values, which to us sounds very non-democratic considering under Islamic values the women should remain quite. :-)
