America is a country of second chance. People are willing to give chances to people. Bush's strong point is his credibility. Even those who doubt his ability still feel that he can be trusted. That is why the first steps of the Democrats is to destroy that image with the American people. And hence the focus on the Air National Guards.

Bush is making the same mistake that Clinton made. Bush should come out and tell the people all he did in the ANG. He was also an alcoholic in the past. Hence he should come out and tell them about his past and end it by saying that he is a changed person. And people know that ne is a changed person.

Then he needs to defend his record. Bring out facts and figures of his economic policy. If Perot could get 20% of the votes with all those pie charts and bar graphs, Bush should know that the American people would be in a position to understand.

But Bush hasn't dome any of that and hence there is skepticism with his continuing in office.
