Well I have noticed that Republicans have been winning traditionally Democrat seats across the country. And on electronic voting machines too. Its not just disturbing, its the end of freedom. The New World Order. The elitists have the control of everything now.

Dave wants to shirk the responsibility for his kid being suspended for attempting to leave school grounds, but it's a safe bet that if Dave's kid were abducted as a result of that sort of venture, Dave would be the first one to scream it was all the school's fault, and had nothing to do with incompetent parenting on his part. We live in a society where the tail no longer goes with the hide. People like Dave live in a dream world where they believe they can vote for bread and circuses, take no personal responsibility for the outcome, make no personal sacrifice to implement change, make no effort to propose alternatives, criticize everything, do nothing, and somehow expect things to change for the better. It's the difference between saying, "Someone needs to do something.", and, "I'm someone, what can I do to make things better?". Virtually every single hot topic election issue that pops up divides the population into those who are willing to accept personal responsibility and those who are not. When gay couples say they want the option to be married, and accept the consequences of the choices they make, they are declaring for personal responsibility. When women say they want the option to make reproductive choices, and accept the consequences of the choices they make, they are declaring for personal responsibility. When people say they want the option to keep and bear arms, and accept the consequences of the choices they make, they are declaring for personal responsibility. Freedom for slaves, women's votes, equal pay for equal work, equal opportunity, and the list goes on and on. It's the perfect acid test for how willing the people are to accept the will of their masters and consent to slavery. When a person says, "I don't want this choice. I am unwilling to accept personal responsibility for having this choice. I can't bear the idea others may make this choice with better results than my own.", it's a declaration against personal responsibility and a vote against freedom.
