Jason Leopold broke the story (later taken up by the LA Times, Nightline and the Sunday Herald without credit) for CounterPunch on the Project for a New American Century's push for war with Iraq.

Did anyone catch richard perle tonight on Paula Zahn casting blame for the Iraq war on intelligence failures. He called for the firing of Tenet... can you imagine this scum bag, probably the single most influential person responsible for this war fiasco calling on anyone else to be fired? I love this...this sort of thing will bring skeletons out of the closet. What was it that DR was fond of saying? The dems are imploding?

Ted Re...This is my last ditch effort to show the hypocrisy within President Bush's administration regarding its policies toward Iraq and its President, Saddam Hussein, just as the United States and Britain prepares to invade the country.

We can only hope he means it. The last ditch part should tell him something. The whole world was against the sanctions, for various reasons, including the left. For the left to now condemn Cheney for doing something they have wanted for yrs,(end the sanctions), is shear hypocrisy also. In the end, Cheney got what he wanted, and so did the left.
