Amazing what can be found on the Web.

Some hard news re: US debt. Not so long ago, Bush received authorization to increase the National Debt to a certain figure. It has now "officially" topped 7 trillion, and will be bumping up to the limit by about June.

In reference to your post #5, I believe strongly that more palpitations of the heart are in store for gold bugs in the future, as long as debt and competitive international currency devaluations continue. Although I have tried deep breathing to counter the symptom of palpitations, Searle, you, being a Doctor and all, perhaps you could advise one such as myself, the proper course of action, should the price of gold once again bring on this serious "medical condition".

"The day the BBC is broken up is the day that you know British democracy is dead "
I believe that every owner of TV set (or may be it is cable) in Brittany should pay BBC 70$ whether he/she want to watch BBC or not agree with BBC liberal bulshit or not. Dismantling BBC would be a step toward democratization of British society.
