Yes, he really aged well. His wife Elizabeth is a warm, lovely woman. She's a lawyer as well but explained that raising their 2 youngest children keeps her busy at home. I saw her interviewed & she would make a terrific 1st lady. Did you read Redfish's post #10 at this forum? The Edwards lost their 16y/o son in 1996. They've had 2 children since then, 3&5y/o and one older surviving child. John Edwards life story is an American classic....including unfortunately, terrible tragedy. The media has not focused on his life at all....they're so busy reliving Vietnam yet again. If the Edwards story ever gets through to female voters....he'll get their vote. IMO his campaign needs to get more forceful as far as getting info out to voters. Maybe a Diane Sawyer interview, a la the Deans, would do the job.
