Various levels of government 'break' laws all the time. For example, the federal government is violating California's laws legalizing medicinal use of marijuana right now... and the federal violation has also been ruled against twice now by federal courts --- yet the administration persists in violating the State and local regulations....

Will they claim they are "married" when filing 2004 taxes? It will be interesting to see what the IRS has to say about it.

We can't do this kinda thing to stop something so obviously moral and pure as Sodomite marriage. But let a guy put up the Ten Commandments and the whole country wants him dead.
