Hell, I'd be happy with a president that quit giving tax cuts to the wealthy and corporations under the foolish deception of "supply side" economics. While I don't support our international shenanigans, the environment, personal freedoms, and the economy are my important items. If this economy is doing so well, why the hell is it still running deficits of around $150B *per quarter* ?!?

Am I the only one that sees that supply side economics only works in a supply-constrained economy? In the midst of deflation, you don't need supply-side initiatives, you need DEMAND-side initiatives. Figure out how to get the bottom 90% of the populace to work in good-paying value-creating jobs, not how to give money back to the top 1% so they can invest it overseas in China...

I know that sounds like central planning, but despite my free-market beliefs, I think it is going to take some sort of centralized effort to get us out of the brewing deflationary recession.

>>Opposing NAFTA even though there is no record of where Edwards opposed it<<

That record is available & makes it perfectly clear that Edwards opposed most of the NAFTA agreements(on grounds of concerns for American workers) while Kerry voted yes on all but one. CNN displayed their records yesterday. It might be posted at their website.
