manalagi, Edwards looks like the best alternative to Bush. The only issue that I don't agree with is his stance on Iraq. He feels it's time to turn it over to the UN. I don't believe, after over 500 precious lives lost, we should take that action until after Iraqi elections. We moved into Iraq in order to plant a democracy in the middle of terrorist-breeding hometurf. The hope is that freedom will become contagious & those medieval cultures will step into the 21stC rather than terrorizing it. Edwards is moderate on all other issues. His promise to make adjustments to the poorly negotiated free trade agreements is the best reason to vote for him.
