ld SS is all over the place. He sees gold going down, going up, short cycles, long cycles, people say he is great but what he is best at is picking stocks not predicting gold prices. I know I have been a subscriber for several years.

Very interesting.... One reason the "K-Wave winter" may be having such a rough time asserting itself this time around, is the fact the world's population is so much more massive than it was during the last K-Winter phase, so basically, the more "consumers" we have, the more positive pressure is placed on many commodities even during a normally reliable down cycle phase.

ld, I like Savilles dollar chart.

If you draw a downtrend line in the middle of the lower/upper channels, that is about where we are at, and is why the dollar is doinking around here, imho. Once it goes into the lower half of the channel, I think the move down will accelerate.

When in the upper half it tends to want to stay there, when in the lower half it tends to want to stay there.

A long ways down yet for ole dollar.
