HOW does one delete a single visited URL from IE and/or Netscape ..

I know how to get rid of ALL at once, and I "used to know" how to make just one go away, but it has slipped into the larger portion of my brain that is vacant ....lol

how do I make just one visited URL go away ..*( not bookmarks) which appear in the address bar??
