War is definitely hell...but the U.S. GI's are the best trained military in the History of the world. Remember the Romans?...now that's brutality. What would you suggest? The military should deal with a Saddam Hussein who invades a neighboring country, so we politely ask...."would you puleeeeeze go back home, Mr. Hussein?" The 60s created the most naive Americans...flower children who believed if everyone got stoned on a regular basis the world would be paradise. Some of those Americans still survive and still believe that nonsense. It's unrealistic to believe the American military commits atrocities on a regular basis. My Lai happened but that was the worst. John Kerry admitted he did not see any of the incidents he described to the congressional committee. In that case he should have eliminated the shocking list. He wanted to become famous with his testimony in order to fulfill his plan for future political office. Today he's using the service he so demonized to now try to fulfill another childhood dream.
