In Utah, where I live, one of the hot political potatoes is whether college students and instructors should be able to take their concealed-carry guns to school. It seems some of the schools have rules against it, and some of the students, instructors and general populace think the "right to bear arms" should trump the school rules. Living in a place where someone may pull a gun on you tends to make you much more civil and polite to your fellow citizens.<G>

And just a couple of days state drug agents up here in San Jose thought they had their man and shot him in the back. He was the wrong guy unarmed and just as dead.
