I think manufacturing is manufacturing. The fact is that the hamburger they assemble sells for 70% more then the parts that assemble it. If you manufactured a disposible camera, why is that diferent then a Cheeseburger. Also using your rational only the actuall line workers would be clasified as manufacturing jobs. I dont know if this is the case, but any kitchen, or prep guy should be classified as manufacturing. I agree the reason for doing this is ridiculous, but theoreticaly I agree with it. I do own several resteraunts, so I am also biased-g-

Lizzie,re:"cooks...as manufacturing". Bush needs to count
job creation, and I won't be surprised 'having a baby' is
mistakenly counted as manufacturing job, "due to faulty intelligence". Boy..oh..boy .. you just don't know what
this gov./administration can/may put up these days.
