"My answer is that because the gift of eternal life was given to me, I am able to do works....I am not saved by any works." We all do work (good, bad and indifferent), whether we have eternal life or not. I'm asking about "good" work and its meaning in a context without Christ. In this particular case we were talking about Gay people. ... If I am gay (through no choice of my own), am a moral person, respect my neighbor, give to my community... am I still damned? In your (prolife) case, I remain a deviant and so what should happen to me.... Jail, capital punishment.... what?
