That is some serious pandering ... prior to his election he assured the religious right he was prolife, yet he hasn't pushed for a Constitutional amendment banning abortion. Instead he chooses a trifling issue (the Supreme Court will almost certainly rule that states have the authority to refuse to recognize gay marriages) to prove his credentials.

I hope there are democrats with cajones to come out and back the Gay Marriage Ban. All I say is give them equal rights and a vigorous enforcement of laws to those who break the laws against them.

It certainly is nice to have a President with a backbone, who doesn't have to molly-coddle to XXX-rated Hollyweird Flintesque scumbags and San Francisco weirdo's - or carry a bottle of 'instant stain-remover' in the Nuclear Suitcase every where he goes....... :-) .
