Tench... If you knew absolutely that if you were killed, that you would be resurrected, why would your death mean anything to you or anyone else? What the hell... gone today back tomorrow. Where is the sacrifice? What was lost?

Ted, He died for the sins of humanity.......by dying on the cross, he paid the price for our sins.

You also said, "I understand why Jesus died........and it didn't have to be on the cross." Why not? Surely the price Jesus paid for our sins wasn't cheap, was it?


I am not sure why you place such emphasis on the cross. I think the significant part was his dying...not where or how he died.
