Whoa, it is your idea! In previous posts you did say members of terror groups captured on a battlefield HAD to be given POW status.

Bin Ladin was not captured during the US invasion of Afghanistan. Nor was he captured during the US invasion of Iraq. The war has ended in both places, so if Bin Ladin is captured in the future, it will not be on a battleground while fighting a war. Ergo, you are not making sense.

Would you believe I would be just as "unhappy" if YOU were "interrogated" (or tortured) for two years while your captors ignored the Geneva Convention. It is called respect for laws. It is also called human compassion for possible innocents. Concepts I don't expect you to understand after the past two weeks of corresponding on this subject.
