Well, you know, I thought so too, but I got the impression from your comments that you didn't!

Some of your comments were these:

~Creating scenarios is a major part of what the military does. The existence of such a "report" does not constitute an endorsement of the science behind global warming, but a consideration of what could happen in the worst case.

~It has no connection to the overall global warming debate.

~I am sorry that you do not comprehend the difference between entertaining a set of assumptions in order to develop a scenario and make contingency plans, and making an assessment of the fundamental science.........

~All I am saying is that the development of such a report is consistent with considering the basic science unsettled, and assuming the worst case.........

~The worst case scenarios did not "kick in" until this century. For all I know, that is why it has become topical.
