It's just a reaction to the holier than thou approach that we see here from the conservatives. Always pointing the finger at the sodomites and the crappy parentage they must have received. Then they probably don't know that their beloved Cheney has a gay daughter and Bush's daughters are drug and alcohol abusers.

Another case of the pot calling the kettle black, but being unaware of it.
