"The broader terrorist threat, he said, "is not going away any time soon." Gotta run. But my last thought for the night is that this is very accurate. And it coincides EXACTLY with what Bush has said since the beginning of this war. But it will not go away AT ALL (EVER) if we avoid this confrontation. France probably stands out to you as a better way to handle this situation overall. Well now war has been declared on them because of the head scarve ban at public schools. No other religious garb can be worn (like the jewish hats), but that is of no concern to the terrorists. France is now a target because they have a policy that is unacceptable to the terrorists. Well the mighty USA will go after them. And it will be a while until the world is rid of terrorism. But it will be because George Bush and the American military stood up to them, even in the face of whithering attacks from the terrorist, and those in our own country like you who will not support our President.

I will tell you how I feel. All this terrorism thing with Muslims is financed and supported by radicals who want to push Jews into the sea. Once or IF the Palistinians ever get their nation most of this will quiet down at least so far as the Western Powers are concerned. So, to me its very important that the matter be settled. I think stabilizing and establish some form of representative govt. in Iraq WILL aid in this process. You dont hear of TURKEY sending terrorists abroad, hopefully the same will be true of Iraq. Given two substantial countries in the center of the conflict OUGHT to help stabilize the entire region. Thats my opinion and thats why I support what we are doing in Iraq. If I felt any other way I would have said the hell with them, if they present a threat to us NUKE em and be done with it. In NO EVENT would I ever allow AMERICA to be threatened by ANYONE. jdn
