My dear friend - After more than a week, we seem to have passed from reality (real Guantanamo prisoners, their real situation of captivity, real Geneva Convention) to hypothetical "What if?"s and have yet made no progress whatsoever on your understanding of the Convention and why it applies to Guantanamo prisoners. I don't think I can do this much longer. Either you have understood by now why the Geneva Convention applies to Guantanamo prisoners captured in Afghanistan, or you never will. In any case, I have posted the relevant parts of the Geneva Convention for you in previous posts. They are very clear. If you are interested, read them.
