I dont know a single professional worker under 40 yrs age
who expects one penny from Sochacurity

guys like me, born before 1955, will not be robbed
at most they will raise our eligible age a little
in time, my group will be vilified for being recipients
my tough call is whether to grab early money at age 62 or wait for more at age 65

Greeny needs to be hanged
the trouble is that the judge, the jury, and the hangman all work for the Manhattan Ruling Elite

the public outside is so clueless, that they exert nonexistent pressure on the case
three years after the great bust, and they still have not concluded his policies caused the problems !!!

Greenspan is a crook IMHO. He systematically manipulated CPI since his 1980s commission in which he prescribed how to reduce CPI and hence politicians can use that pot for their pet. That also allowed them (Washington based political crooks) to play with SS surplus to create budget balance illusion (for e.g. Clinton's record surplus).
This guy is a continuing danger not only to USA and its people but also to the financial well being of the entire planet. He must prosecuted and hanged publically.

Now more than ever I am convinced that AG must be fired. His suggestion to hurt social security at a time that the marginal tax rate is low and so many financial scandals regarding executive compensation is skyrocketing rend him as the greatest moral hazard to the world IMHO.

People worked all their life and paid toward social security huge amounts and now a jerk comes along and wants to steal it. Such uttering is highly irresponsible and he deserve to be fired on the spot ....... I think that puloing pension funds is criminal under US Criminal code why not social security ?

With the advance in age of retirement benefits and the decrease in the amount of SS benefits shielded from income tax, I already expect 37% less benefit that my parents received -- this all based on a study I read a couple years ago. That assumes, of course, that my buying power remains about equal. When you include the shaded down ppi adjustment to SS extended over 20-24 years to when I hopefully would retire, that would further reduce the absolute dollar value to perhaps 50% of what my parents receive now. That's all with current laws and practices. So Greenie is proposing to lower that 50% further, to perhaps 25%? My parents live almost entirely on SS and do not make ends meet -- my sibs and I contribute perhaps 15% of their annual income. The trainwreck for the BBs and their SS at 1/4 to 1/3 of today's retirees combined with the problems of the twin deficits coming home to roost will create an enormous struggling class, in my view, all within the next 10-20 years.
