Re: Think he'll get around to yanking Limbaugh?

I took a long walk this morning and listened to about an hour of the Limbaugh show. Shockingly, I agreed with his main premise of the hour. He was arguing that "moderates" aren't the people who ought to be determining the course for the nation's policy making. He correctly observed that most "moderates" were simply people who were wishy-washy and "go along, get along" types who show no leadership whatsoever.

I think it was a reasonable and thoughtful observation.

Of course he then went off in the usual Dittohead rants about Kerry and Left, but for a few minutes, there was a kernel of the truth before the lies and distortion came back full force.

I think it is great news and well past time when Howard Stern has his oxygen cut off. There is a bizarre cult of Stern followers in this country. They constitute 95% of the harassment calls that C-SPAN receives, and I'm confident these goofballs are doing the same to other decent programs as well.

I caught the Greg Palast segment on the Dennis Miller Show. It was a pity he had to share the segment with that oaf David Horowitz. What a wheezer that putz is. Oy Vey!

I think Palast comported himself quite well. I was only vaguely aware of what a whack job Mel Gibson's dad is. Probably helps to explain some of Gibson's bizarre ultra-right-wing Catholicism.

Why do these Hollywood types end up so often with the bizarre cults? Travolta and Scientology. Cruise, the same, as I recall. But Gibson is perhaps the most bizarre.
