Gramm-Rudman-Hollings was not a liberal vote. Kerry broke with the liberals to vote for it. Kennedy was furious. Kerry also voted to end welfare as we knew it. Not a liberal vote. He voted to reform Affirmative Action. Not a liberal vote. Kerry also voted for the Iraq War. Again, not a liberal vote and Teddy railed against that vote.

So you tell me Kerry is more liberal than Kennedy just because of some rightwing "statistic". I'll give you a real statistic, 3 million lost jobs, 1.5 trillion in deficit spending and 540 dead in Iraq from a war based on lies.

If you want to put inaccurate labels on people go ahead, but these are the real stats which people care about.

Let me fill you in on something, I detest ALL politicians, but will vote for the least damaging one

Same here. It's depressing to continually have to chose between the lesser of evils. I don't like Bush, but I don't like Kerry even more. Wonder how much of the electorate harbors similar sentiments??
