Post Nazi-period holocaust deniers are not that at all. They are folks who realize that it is much harder to push anti-semitism in a post holocaust environment. So they use it to attract folks who have a prediliction to anti-semitism. And these folks can be very cagey and indeed have jewish friends who will vouch for them--Mel Gibson and Pat Buchanan are examples of this. And it is not a surprise that they both come from the hutton gibson wing of the catholic church. Mike

Let me explain why people, including me, suspect that Mel opinion's and his father's are not dissimilar, though Mel has reason (PR) to be cagey about his. Why do you care? Are you a Christian? Are you a Jew? Do you believe in Islam? Are you a Hindu? Do you practice Santeria? What is your standing here? Why do you attack poor innocent persons who spend money, money they can barely afford, to see this movie hoping only for an affirmation of the faith they hold dear, the faith that holds them together? They are hoping only for a teardrop of sustenance, just something to keep them going and you want to deprive them of even that? You cannot click your heels together and make them kings of this world. That is a false promise. These people know suffering, and you can not relieve their suffering through false promises. So why do you want to punish these Christians? Because punishment is what you are offering them. Why? What makes you want to hurt them? Why? What makes you want to cause them pain? Why?
