The Afghan invasion was carried out almost immediately after 911 and I don't know anyone who objected You have a selective memory, then. The Democrats were acquiescent, but the soi-disant "progressive Left" objected vociferously. Remember Chomsky's "silent genocide of 3 or 4 million Afghans"? That was October 2001. re: WOT??? In Iraq???? What about N. Korea? What is being done there.....You in favor of invading there too????? How about China and Russia.....they have thousands of nukes.... No way, we're invading them....we'll really get a bloody nose and that won't wash with the voters. Better we stay with the push-overs. Like I thought. Do nothing.
